Hi Linda,
I guess I was lucky. It worked first time for me. When I have a program that doesn't want to work for me, I typically throw it in the trash. I recently found another free defragger program (Auslogics), maybe it'll work for you.
I tried out this fine little defragger later in the week and it works nicely on my PCs. Just keep in mind that the Windows defrag utility will probably work better for you if you can get it to work at all.
