Attention Shoppers and Bargain Hunters:
Didn't get the Sunday paper? Someone threw out the ad you wanted to look at? SundaySaver shows Sunday Newspaper ads and weekly sales circulars from every store in America, and you won't get newsprint on your fingers. SundaySaver has saved me time and frustration, and is especially helpful around the holidays when traffic is long, tempers short, and patience non-existent! Just enter your zipcode and let your mouse do the walking!

Hi Clif,
While reading up on EverNote, I came across an interesting way to use it, and it jogged my memory of something I'd seen in your newsletter. I looked at several older ones, but can't remember who wanted some type of recipe organizer? If you remember who/what I'm referring to, or can use this info in any way, great! If you can't, don't worry about it. Here's the "picture worth a thousand words":

I remember what jogged your memory. It was a question from Joe F that resulted in this article about ReciPc.

Hi Clif,
Just received this from an old school friend, and I think it's without a doubt one of the most spectacular videos I've seen. I hope it's not too long to put in your newsletter, as it's well worth watching to the very end - sensational!

A Surprise Video You Will LOVE!
I almost didn't watch this video, as I was afraid the little bunny would be killed by the snake, and I refuse to watch any type of animal cruelty or suffering. But am I ever glad I decided to see "just a little more", as this turns out to be one of the best videos I've ever seen. I know you'll enjoy it and please share with your friends who love animals.

PlateWire, a public repository and electronic forum of drivers by drivers is finally here: http://www.platewire.com/ This new site is indeed one to rave about, and has already been heralded on FOX, ABC, NBC, CBS and many other news channels nationwide.
How many times have you had a "close call" due to another driver's carelessness? We've all seen instances where we wished a police car were right behind us; a road rage crazy? Someone in a hurry, cutting people off? Kids jumping around in the car with no seat belts on? A car weaving all over the road, the driver obviously under the influence? But all too often the offender drives off, never to be punished and most likely to repeat the same behavior over again, until someone gets hurt. Or killed. Now you can do something about it, and help to make our roads safer to drive on. Take down the license plate and report him/her to PlateWire. Ahhhh.... revenge is sweet!
PlateWire is a unique concept, and a much needed one at that. Thanks to TV coverage from all our major news channels, this long overdue site is already on its way to becoming well known all over the counrty. I hope it will soon be famous world wide. What a great idea!

Hi Clif,
Here's a great program for sending email with the sound of your own voice, and you can do it even if you don't know how to type. I often put off sending email to friends because I have a lot to say, but not enough time to write a long letter. JDVoiceMail is a wonderful little program that will save you time and add a personal touch to all your email. You can even sing a Christmas carol to someone! I've tried TalkSender and other voice mail programs in the past, but in my opinion, JDVoiceMail beats them all. It's easy enough for a 5 year old to use, so check it out. SnapFiles gives it a 5 star rating (Excellent), and so will you, once you try it!

Hi Clif,
I've written these people to ask if their program will work with Firefox, as it appears to be compatible only with IE. Am waiting to hear back, and will send you all the details IF it can be used with Firefox or other browsers ... I'll let you know as soon as I hear back from Irondust.com.

QuickSend allows Windows Internet Explorer users to email text selections using the selection's right-click context menu. The email will be pre-filled-in with the page's URL, title, and the selected text. All that's left to do is type in who you want to email. What could be easier?
Happy Sunday!

Hi Clif,
Here's a new discovery for your newsletter, and this one's a real gem if you like music: Playa Cofi Jukebox. You'll find an impressive variety of music, with playlists from movies, TV shows, Christmas, Gospel, featured artist, different eras, etc. It has the most extensive list of Oldies I've seen; from 1954 to 1982. You can select a playlist, minimize it and go back to work, and it will play in the background. Or you can look thru the playlists and choose individual songs, one at a time. Find the list(s) from your high school years, and go back in time, listening to your old favorites. The "Caribbean Rhythms" playlist's lively, happy music will make you wish you were lying on a warm, sunny beach, sipping a tall tropical drink, rather than snowed-in in cold country!
Now, back to Alley Cat; I'm almost on level 6! Wishing you a great weekend,
Tiffany

Good news! I've discovered 2 great free programs that I'd like to share with you.
The first one is Snippy: http://bhelpuri.net/Snippy and here is a brief description of it from their website:
"Snip, and you're done! How often have you carefully selected some text from a Web page and copied it to an email message? Snippy makes this a snap! Simply click on the little Snippy icon in the taskbar notification area, and mark out the region of the screen that you want to copy — that's it, you're done! The cut-out image will now be in your clipboard, and you can paste it in another application."
Here's an example of this ingenious little program at work:

Snippy makes it a snap to email a photo and text in 2 quick and easy steps - no saving of pictures first, etc. You really will wonder how you ever got along without it!
The second program is M8 Multi Clipboard: http://m8software.com/clipboards/freeclip/freeclip.htm
"M8 is the simplest of all multi-clipboard programs. Just have it running minimized and it captures everything you cut or copy from other programs. It keeps the last 25 clips. When you want to paste one back, all you have to do is restore M8 and click on the clip you want. If you prefer to work entirely from the keyboard, you can choose a function key to restore M8 and then paste any clip by typing the letter shown next to it. When you move the mouse over the clips, you can see them in the viewer. If the clip is text, you see several lines and if it is a graphic, you see a thumbnail." ''
I really like the fact that both of these programs capture not only text, but photos as well, and they do it so simply.
